By accessing or using JDResu.me (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) available at https://jdresu.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of JDResu.me. By creating an account or using the Service without an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

JDResu.me is a web-based resume builder that allows users to create, edit, manage, and export professional resumes. The Service may include, but is not limited to:

• Online resume creation and editing tools
• Multiple professionally-designed resume templates
• AI-powered writing suggestions and content enhancement
• PDF and other format export functionality
• Resume storage and management
• Public resume sharing via unique URLs
• Import from LinkedIn or other professional profiles

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using supported third-party OAuth providers (such as GitHub or Google). By registering, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You will maintain and promptly update your account information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms without prior notice.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must NOT use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without prior written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Harvest or collect email addresses or personal information of other users
• Transmit spam, chain letters, or unsolicited mass communications
• Use the AI features to generate content that is intentionally misleading, fraudulent, or designed to deceive employers about your qualifications
• Use the Service to create resumes for others on a commercial basis without proper disclosure to end recipients

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action for any violation of this policy, including removing content and terminating accounts.

The Service may offer AI-powered features such as resume writing suggestions, content enhancement, and professional language improvements. Regarding these features:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and suggestion only — you are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before use
• You must not misrepresent AI-generated content as solely your own original work in contexts where such disclosure is legally or professionally required
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose
• Content submitted to AI features may be processed by third-party AI providers; refer to our Privacy Policy for details
• AI features are provided “as-is” and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time

Your Content:You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, or store on the Service (“Your Content”), including your resume data, text, and any files you upload.

License to Us: By using the Service, you grant JDResu.me a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

Public Resumes: If you choose to make your resume publicly accessible via a public URL, you acknowledge that it will be accessible to anyone with that URL, including search engines. You are solely responsible for ensuring that publicly shared resumes do not contain sensitive personal information you do not intend to share publicly.

Our Intellectual Property: The Service, including its design, branding, code, templates, and all non-user-generated content, is the intellectual property of JDResu.me and its operators. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

The Service may allow you to upload files such as photos, certificates, or other documents. When uploading files, you agree that:

• You have the right to upload the content and grant us the license described in Section 6
• You will not upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• File uploads are subject to size and type restrictions as specified in the Service
• We reserve the right to remove any uploaded content that violates these Terms without notice
• Uploaded files are stored securely but we cannot guarantee unlimited retention; you should maintain your own backups

We are not responsible for any loss or corruption of uploaded files. We strongly recommend maintaining independent copies of all important documents.

We strive to provide a reliable and continuous service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service
• Change pricing or introduce paid tiers for certain features with reasonable notice

We will endeavor to provide advance notice of significant changes or discontinuation. However, we shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• We are required to do so by law or a court order
• Your account is associated with fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity
• Continued provision of the Service is no longer commercially viable

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may (but are not obligated to) provide you with a copy of your data before termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS

WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT ANY RESUME CREATED USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT OR MEET THE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF ANY PARTICULAR EMPLOYER OR APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JDRESU.ME AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR CONDUCT
• ANY EMPLOYMENT DECISIONS MADE BY THIRD PARTIES BASED ON RESUMES CREATED WITH THE SERVICE

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JDResu.meand its operators, contributors, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of any rights of another party.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as OAuth providers, AI services, or cloud storage). These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review. We are not responsible for:

• The practices or content of any third-party services
• Any damage or loss caused by your use of or reliance on third-party services
• The availability or accuracy of third-party services

Links to third-party websites do not constitute an endorsement by us of those sites or their content.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted by law, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page
• Notify registered users via email or in-app notification for material changes
• Provide a reasonable period before changes take effect where feasible

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
